## Description

HDK-Valand and the Hasselblad Foundation invite applications for the first edition of the Curatorial Intensive in Photography, taking place in São Paulo, Brazil, in December 2026. This intensive program is designed for emerging curators and cultural practitioners based in Sweden, with all travel, accommodation, and participation costs covered for selected participants. The program focuses on how photographic practices can be discussed in relation to place, publicness, institutions, and responsibility, encouraging participants to develop a curatorial interest, concern, or direction through collective work, site visits, seminars, and conversations.
