## Description

The Nomad Art Prize is an international award for visual arts that celebrates the connection between artistic creation and inspiring places. The prize seeks to discover 8 artists whose work embodies the spirit of movement and crosses borders, cultures, and contexts. For its 2026 edition, the prize focuses on Lisbon, inviting artists to explore themes of displacement, travel, and the tension between roots and movement. Eight selected artists will receive a cash prize, a one-week creative residency in Lisbon with travel and accommodation covered, and an exhibition opportunity.
