## Description

Prospect Art invites visual artists worldwide to apply for the 2027 NEW WORK / ONE WORK Open Call, centered on the curatorial theme \*We Come in Pieces\*. This theme explores ideas of estrangement, shared planetary belonging, and perspectives beyond the human, welcoming projects that challenge traditional ways of seeing and knowing. One artist will receive a $1,500 commission through the NEW WORK program to create a new conceptually driven work responding to the theme. Applicants will also be considered for ONE WORK, an online conversation series, and BROADCAST, a curated program of screenings, artist talks, and discussions. The opportunity is open to professional visual artists globally, working across various media, but excludes artists currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studio art programs.
