## Description

The Studio for Electroacoustic Music at the Akademie der Künste in Berlin and Elektronmusikstudion EMS in Stockholm are launching a new bilateral residency program. Four artists will have the opportunity to develop and present new works in Stockholm and Berlin. The program supports artistic and technical initiatives in time-based, performative, and digital arts, focusing on sound, music, and technology. New works will be presented at KONTAKTE 2027 in Berlin and in Stockholm. The residency is open to artists working in various forms of electroacoustic music and sound art, as well as those from other disciplines where sound is central to their work. Curatorial, publishing, educational, and independent research projects related to sound-based art practice are also encouraged.
