## Description

The European Cultural Foundation (ECF) is launching a new annual Fellowship program to encourage research into its historical archives, which will open to the public on June 10, 2026. This fellowship aims to foster new research and creative work engaging with the history of the ECF and the role of culture in shaping Europe. Fellows are expected to work substantially with the ECF archival holdings, primarily in English, French, German, and Dutch. Outcomes of the fellowship must be completed and publicly presented or published within two years after the signing of the Grant Agreement. Fellows will work at the Historical Archives of the European Union (HAEU), embedded in the international scholarly community of the European University Institute in Florence.
