## Description

MacDowell offers Fellowships to approximately 300 artists annually across seven disciplines, with artistic excellence as the sole criterion for acceptance. The program provides a home for artists to engage in intense productivity and transformative experiences. There are no residency fees, and need-based stipends and travel reimbursement grants are available to ensure accessibility for a broad community of artists. MacDowell encourages applications from artists of all backgrounds and countries in disciplines including architecture, film/video, interdisciplinary arts, literature, music composition, theatre, and visual arts.
