## Description

The National Center for Art Research, Japan (NCAR) is accepting applications for Term II of its Fiscal Year 2026 "Japanese Artists Abroad—Support Program for International Biennales." This program aims to enhance the international visibility and value of Japanese contemporary art by providing support funds to organizers of international art exhibitions held outside Japan that feature Japanese artists. The maximum support is 3.5 million Japanese yen per artist, capped at 7 million Japanese yen per exhibition if multiple Japanese artists participate. Eligible exhibitions must commence between October 1, 2026, and September 30, 2027, and demonstrate originality in theme and curatorial approach.
