## Description

The International Composition Institute of Thailand (ICIT) 2026 offers an intensive and unique experience for composers to experiment with sonic and conceptual ideas alongside professional contemporary mentors and performers. Held from December 14th to 20th, 2026, in partnership with the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC), the program focuses on sonic creativities, interdisciplinary concepts, and music technology. Selected works will be premiered as part of the IntAct Festival. The program offers three tracks: Acoustic Ensemble, Ensemble with Electronics and Multimedia, and Ensemble “Plus” (including self-built instruments, non-instrumental, theatrical elements, performance art). Participants can attend in a hybrid format, with in-person activities in Bangkok and online streaming options. The winner will receive a cash prize and a commission.
