Hypha\_etc is offering the Night as Commons Residency in Vármező / Câmpu Cetății, Transylvania, Romania, from 1 October – 10 November 2026. This residency invites artists and researchers to explore darkness as a shared ecological, cultural, and political condition, focusing on themes such as night-time ecologies, the cultural dimensions of darkness, sensory experience, and light pollution. The program includes interdisciplinary mentorship from experts in physics, biology, and curatorial research. Support includes a daily allowance, travel allowance, and various top-ups for green mobility, visas, outermost regions, families, and accessibility.
