## Description

The HIAP (Helsinki International Artist Programme) offers one of the Nordic region's most internationally oriented residency programs. Located on the island of Suomenlinna, a UNESCO World Heritage sea fortress, the program hosts 15–20 international artists annually for 1–3 month stays. Residents receive a studio/apartment, a monthly grant, and connections to Helsinki's contemporary art institutions. The program is a member of the Res Artis network. The 2027 HIAP International Residency is for 1–3 month stays on Suomenlinna sea fortress island.
