## Description

This funded artist residency in Iceland, part of the CUSP program, focuses on Creative Understanding, Saving and Preserving Time-Based Media Art. The residency will last up to four weeks during early 2027, with final dates arranged with the selected artist. It targets artists whose practice engages with the preservation of contemporary media, including those working with AI, blockchain, software-based art, physical computing, sound, video, and hybrid physical/digital forms. Artists combining performance, installation, computation, or interactive technologies are also encouraged to apply. Successful applicants are expected to contribute to public engagement by leading an Open Lab workshop or masterclass.
