## Description

The City of Caen and the Calvados Department are collaborating for the fifth year to support visual artists in their territory. This individual creation aid fund, with an annual budget of €30,000, aims to finance artistic research and creation projects. It encourages artists to develop creative projects, supports artists based in Caen and Calvados, and accompanies innovative or experimental projects across various mediums, from painting to digital creation. The maximum individual aid is €5,000, and an artist studio may be provided if available. The selection process involves a committee of elected officials and contemporary art personalities, followed by auditions for pre-selected artists.
