## Description

Fondazione Telethon and Fondazione Cariplo announce a joint call for applications for 2026, supporting basic research projects. The call focuses on investigating targets with unknown functions in rare diseases, classified as Tdark. Two formats are available: Pilot Applications for one-year projects with up to €50,000 funding, and Full Applications for projects up to two years with up to €250,000 funding. Preliminary data is required for Full Applications, while it is optional for Pilot Applications. Only Italian nonprofit research institutions are eligible to apply.
