## Description

The Tom of Finland Foundation is hosting its 13th Emerging Artist Competition, encouraging artists to share work that portrays sexuality. The competition is open to emerging artists who have not yet commercially sold work depicting sexuality. Submissions open on March 25, 2026, and close on May 8, 2026, at Midnight Pacific Daylight Time. The competition accepts various media, including photography, drawings, paintings, mixed media, collage, sculpture, three-dimensional art, and digital renderings (excluding AI). The subject matter is limited to erotic content, encompassing a wide range of sexualities and fantasies. There is an entry fee of $25 for one work or $35 for two works. The Grand Prize Winner will receive a US$5,000 grant, participation in a future Tom of Finland Art and Culture Festival, and other prizes. First, Second, and Third Place Winners in five categories will also receive awards. Judges will evaluate entries based on erotic content and artistic criteria. Anonymity is guaranteed upon request.
