## Description

Fondazione Pistoletto Cittadellarte and UniCredit Group are offering two funded production residencies in Biella, Italy, for emerging artists focusing on ecological questions. The selected artists, one Italian and one international (residing in Europe), will develop and produce a new artwork for public presentation at Cittadellarte, which will then be acquired by the UniCredit Art Collection. The residencies run between December 2026 and April 2027, with a schedule tailored to each project. Artists are invited to investigate ecosystems as interconnected communities, challenging anthropocentric perspectives and promoting an ecocentric mindset. Proposals may address technological approaches to ecological transformation, community engagement, circular ecologies, or water and sustainable futures. The program provides a substantial financial package, including a gross fee, production and research budgets, travel coverage, accommodation, and a daily allowance, along with comprehensive support.
