## Description

The Center for the Arts in Crested Butte offers a two-week Artist-in-Residence program, providing artists with an opportunity to expand their practice in a unique Colorado setting. The Center, which has grown from a 6,000-square-foot garage to a 28,000-square-foot multi-use space, includes a 350-seat theater, two art studios, dance studios, and a visual art gallery. The residency culminates in a solo exhibition or performance in the gallery or theater. Housing is provided, and artists receive a $1,000 stipend. There is no application fee. The application period for future open calls will be from February 1 to April 1, 2027. The residencies typically take place in October.
