## Description

Dib Bangkok is hosting a symposium and intensive workshop titled “Material Touch Points,” focusing on object-based research and exploring the intersection of contemporary Southeast Asian art and global art histories. The program aims to bridge the divide between formal analysis and socially grounded contextual readings in art narratives. Participants will engage in artwork analysis, roundtable discussions, and presentations, with proceedings published afterward. This opportunity offers mentorship and dialogue with leading scholars, targeting early-career art historians, curators, and art scholars. The program seeks to connect contemporary artworks with global artistic and intellectual currents through grounded case studies.
