## Description

The Art Production Residency at Godsbanen’s Workshops supports the professional visual arts community, especially in Western Denmark. Artists can apply for a residency to gain access to a large workspace/studio, specialized workshops, and professional guidance. This initiative aims to strengthen artistic production capacity and develop creative art in the region by providing artists with more time and resources for larger art projects. The program also collaborates with The Jutland Art Academy, reserving production space for students to create their graduation exhibitions. A professional art jury, including the Head of Godsbanen’s Workshops and the Director of the Danish Art Workshops, selects the artists.
