## Description

The Krull Foundation is offering up to three work grants in the field of fine arts for artists living and working in Berlin or Brandenburg in 2027. The grants are awarded for a period of twelve months (January 1 to December 31, 2027) and are endowed with 1,200 € per month. The grants support artistic projects in the field of fine arts, particularly in painting, sculpture, and photography. Projects in video and digital art, as well as performance, are not eligible for funding in 2027. Applicants must have completed an artistic education or be able to demonstrate several years of professional artistic activity. Students are excluded from applying. The foundation reserves the right to link the grants with participation in a group exhibition in Berlin. The decision is based on a coherent concept for a work project that demonstrates an independent artistic position and its further development. Further evaluation criteria include previous artistic activity, as well as grants and awards received. The foundation decides on the award based on the recommendation of an independent expert jury. Applications must be submitted electronically using the "Bewerbungsformular Arbeitsstipendium 2027" by May 31, 2026, 23:59.
