## Description

PLAYA's Art/Sci Awarded Residency brings together artists and scientists to immerse themselves in inquiry, practice, and research, fostering an exchange of ideas across disciplines. The program focuses on expanding the field of art and science to empower human motivation for a healthy future. Awarded residents receive lodging and a weekly group meal. Applicants can choose an 11-, 18- or 25-night session. The residency is open to a wide range of applicants, including visual artists, literary artists, performing artists, interdisciplinary artists, new media artists, and scientists. Applicants are required to submit work samples appropriate to their discipline and answer several short questions about their practice and proposed project.
