## Description

The Queens Museum (QM) is launching its eighth iteration of the QM-Jerome Foundation Fellowship for Emerging Artists in New York City. Two visual artists will each receive a $20,000 award, professional development consultations from QM staff, and mentorship from a New York-based established artist. The one-year fellowships will culminate in solo project exhibitions at the Queens Museum in 2028. The program defines an emerging artist as one with limited exhibition exposure, no more than a few grants or fellowship awards, and no solo exhibitions at museums or established commercial galleries in the US or New York. Applicants should have between 2 and 10 years of experience as a generative artist outside of studies.
