## Description

The 2026 New City Arts Fellowship invites Charlottesville-area artists to submit proposals for site-specific artworks activating the Ivy Creek Natural Area and Historic River View Farm. Three selected Artist Fellows will receive a $1,000 stipend, access to a designated site, and free/discounted services at local arts spaces. The fellowship culminates in an outdoor showcase and celebration at Ivy Creek in mid-November 2026, where artists will publicly share their work. Proposals are welcome from a wide variety of artists including writers, painters, musicians, photographers, sound artists, performers, and filmmakers, with a focus on zero- or low-impact creative activations.
