## Description

The Cuttyhunk Island Artists' Residency offers a Fall Residency from September 9 - 16, 2026, for visual artists to develop their work in an inspirational setting. Located on a small island off the coast of Massachusetts, the program hosts groups of twelve artists who live together in the historic Avalon Inn. The island itself serves as a studio, encouraging artists to find inspiration from their coastal surroundings. Full and partial fellowships are available, covering tuition, housing, and meals. Partial/Work-Study Fellowships offer reduced costs in exchange for kitchen work. The residency is open to visual artists at all career stages, encouraging those who benefit from nature in their creative process and have a portable studio practice.
