## Description

The AHL Foundation is accepting applications for the 2026 AHL-T&W Foundation Contemporary Visual Art Award. This annual competition recognizes the work of exemplary emerging contemporary artists of Korean descent active in the United States. Three selected artists will each receive a $5,000 monetary prize and the opportunity to have their work presented in a group exhibition in New York City in October 2026. The award also covers travel and other costs for the award ceremony and exhibition. The AHL Foundation, established in 2003, aims to support and provide visibility for artists of Korean heritage. The award has been generously supported by the T&W Foundation since 2016. Applicants must submit an artist statement, up to 10 work samples from the past five years (images or video links), and a full curriculum vitae. The application period is from April 1 to May 31, 2026, with results announced on July 4, 2026. The award ceremony is scheduled for November 7, 2026.
